The ancient Chinese Qigong practice called Baduanjin, which is translated into English as the “Eight Pieces of Brocade”, is nearly one thousand years old. This set of energy exercises has been designed to improve health, instill tranquility, boost the immune system, and increase the circulation of Qi in the body – the vital energy that the Chinese believe to be at the root of longevity and healing.
