Flying Phoenix Qigong workshop

This weekend was transformative, as I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Flying Phoenix Qigong workshop led by the esteemed Chinese martial arts and healing master, Terence Dunn at Dina Ostrovsky’s Dragon  Nest - beautiful retreat space.

The Flying Phoenix is not just a practice; it’s a journey into the depths of traditional Chinese wisdom, blending martial arts with a healing touch.

Under Master Dunn’s guidance, we explored the intricate movements of Flying Phoenix Qigong, each pose flowing seamlessly into the next. This ancient practice is more than just a physical exercise; it’s a pathway to deeper wellness and spiritual awakening. As we moved through the forms, I could feel a profound connection between my body and mind, a harmony that resonates with the very essence of higher self .

What truly sets the Flying Phoenix apart is its holistic approach. I found myself not only gaining strength and flexibility but also experiencing a surge in my creative energies. The workshop was a reminder of how deeply our physical state is intertwined with our mental and spiritual well-being.

Master Dunn, with his depth of knowledge and compassionate teaching style, made each moment of the workshop enlightening. He embodies the true spirit of a master - someone who not only teaches but also inspires. His insights into the philosophy behind each movement enriched our understanding, turning each session into a profound learning experience.

As I reflect on this weekend, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. This workshop was more than just learning about Qigong; it was about discovering a new way of being, one that embraces the balance and harmony that is at the heart of this ancient practice. We also closed the beautiful weekend in the beautiful Minnewaska. It was so magical there with the wind and snow.
