Integrating Altered States of Consciousness

May 30, 10am-6pm Boston, MA

Psychedelic journeys, shamanic ceremonies, deep meditation, spontaneous mystical experiences — all open access to immense amounts of energy, information, and potential.

But without integration, these experiences often remain fragmented, overwhelming, or fail to translate into real change.

This one-day seminar offers five original methods rooted in Process-Oriented Psychology (Process Work).

These methods are simple, accessible, and effective. They can be used:

— for your own integration,

— in integration circles,

— in client work.

Each method is taught through explanation, demonstration, and paired practice.

By the end of the seminar, you will have a clear, practical toolkit you can apply anytime.

What is included?

1. Working with Three Levels of Awareness

We will explore three levels of perception:

Consensus Reality — Dreaming — Essence,

and how they manifest in altered states.

You will learn to navigate between these levels and recognize where you are in the process.

2. Shapeshifting

A simple and powerful method that engages all channels of perception — body sensation, movement, sound, image, and meaning — to transform challenging experiences into stable inner resources.

This approach helps complete unfinished processes and stabilize intense states.

You will receive a clear structure and algorithm you can apply to any experience.

3. Working with Dreamlike Structures

We will explore the similarities and differences between altered states and dreams.

Types of imagery we will work with include:

frightening, repetitive, initiatory, ancestral, sexual, fairy-tale, and transpersonal.

You will learn: — how to recognize the structure of an experience,

— how to formulate precise questions,

— how to guide integration step by step.

Includes master class and practice.

4. High & Low Dreams

Working with Large Fields of Experience

When multiple impressions pull in different directions, clarity is easily lost.

The High & Low Dreams framework helps reveal the structure of a complex experiential field and understand the direction of the process.

This method is effective for integrating psychedelic journeys, as well as working with relationships, career questions, and life decisions.

You will receive a practical algorithm for personal and professional use.

Includes master class and paired practice.

5. Power Dance

Working with Polarities

Altered states often activate opposing forces — light and shadow, fear and strength, chaos and clarity.

Power Dance is a method of working with polarities through movement, rhythm, and sound.

It allows you to: — bring inner conflict into a coherent form,

— access the resource within tension,

— develop flexibility between states.

You will also learn conscious transitions between polarities — a key skill for navigating intense experiences.

Includes examples and practice.
