Extraordinary experiences—including psychedelic journeys, vivid dreams, mystical experiences, shamanic journeys, and encounters with spirits, guides, teachers, or other autonomous figures—can profoundly transform our lives.

Yet therapists, facilitators, coaches, and psychedelic integration practitioners often face an important question:

How can we work with these experiences without reducing them to pathology, fantasy, or literal belief?

Process Work (Process-Oriented Psychology), developed by Arnold Mindell, offers a unique framework for understanding and integrating extraordinary experiences while honoring both their psychological and spiritual dimensions.

In this experiential workshop, participants will learn practical methods for integrating extraordinary states of consciousness into psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, coaching, facilitation, and everyday life.

Workshop Topics

  • Introduction to Process Work

  • Process-Oriented Psychology developed by Arnold Mindell

  • The Three Levels of Awareness

  • Primary and Secondary Process

  • Perceptual Channels

  • Working with extraordinary images through Shapeshifting

  • Essence Work: Meeting the Dream Maker, the Big You, or the Higher Self

  • Integrating the polarities revealed through dreams, psychedelic journeys, ceremonies, and other extraordinary experiences

  • Working with high-intensity states of consciousness, including fear, ecstasy, ego dissolution, and encounters with the unknown

  • A Process Work perspective on extraordinary experiences and encounters with the unknown

Format

The workshop combines theory, live demonstrations, and experiential exercises. Participants will leave with practical methods they can immediately apply in psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, coaching, facilitation, and their own personal practice.
