When I came to the Terrapia School of Transformation, I was desperately searching for answers.

For more than ten years, I had been struggling with health problems, depression, and a constant lack of energy. Conventional medicine wasn't giving me the results I hoped for, and at times it felt like my condition was only getting worse. I was overweight, emotionally exhausted, and had almost completely lost faith in myself. I knew I had to find another way.
At my very first introductory class, I met people with completely different life stories and challenges. Each person was unique, and what struck me most was how Dina Ostrovsky helped each of us discover and express that uniqueness. I was amazed by the depth and care with which she worked. It was as if she could find the most painful place within a person and help transform it into a source of strength and growth.
I remember my roommate saying after the first day, "I don't believe that you can solve work problems through play. That's impossible." Yet that very first night, I had a vivid dream about the human ability to change reality. Then, on Monday, my roommate told me with amazement that her difficult situation at work had unexpectedly resolved itself. That was the first time we looked at each other and said, "This really works."
Month after month, we learned, listened, discussed, experimented with new practices, and gradually changed. We learned through play, through direct experience, and through authentic connection. We walked through the beautiful landscapes of New Paltz, practiced ikebana, created mandalas, and explored our bodies, emotions, and inner conflicts. We worked with physical symptoms, fears, trauma, relationships, and money issues. We participated in Family Constellations and learned to listen to ourselves and trust our own inner experience.
Little by little, we began to understand ourselves more deeply. We started seeing what was holding us back, setting new goals, and releasing our inner limitations one step at a time. With that came knowledge, confidence, and renewed strength.
What I especially want to highlight is Dina Ostrovsky's dedication to her students. Whenever someone was going through a difficult period or facing a serious life challenge, she never stood aside. She organized additional calls, offered support, helped people find clarity, and continued teaching with remarkable generosity. Her sincere desire to help others is evident in every class she leads.
The year passed almost without my noticing. We became a true community—people who genuinely support one another, celebrate each other's successes, and continue growing together. Our goals evolved, our worldview expanded, and we developed a much stronger inner foundation. We learned to understand not only ourselves, but also the world around us.
Of course, everyone's path of transformation is unique, and the results depend on each person's willingness to do the work. But for me, the Terrapia School of Transformation became the place where I finally realized that real change is possible. I came looking for help, but I found much more: knowledge, support, lifelong friends, inspiration, and the confidence that it is truly possible to change your life.
